SEALSQ Launches Quantum-Resistant Security Platform on US Soil

SEALSQ Corp is bringing post-quantum cybersecurity infrastructure to the United States with a new Root of Trust platform designed to protect against threats from future quantum computers.

SEALSQ Corp (LAES) is betting big on quantum-proof cybersecurity, and it's doing so with an explicitly American twist. The company will launch its U.S.-based Post-Quantum Root of Trust on November 21, 2025, creating what it calls sovereign infrastructure for issuing and managing quantum-resistant digital identities and PKI services.

The timing isn't random. As quantum computers edge closer to reality, they threaten to crack the encryption methods that currently protect everything from credit cards to classified government communications. SEALSQ's platform targets U.S. enterprises and government agencies that want locally controlled, quantum-secure certificate issuance, lifecycle management, and hardware-anchored device provisioning across IoT, industrial systems, telecom, and cloud environments.

Building to Federal Standards

The new system runs on SEALSQ's INeS platform and handles secure onboarding, scalable credential management, and remote lifecycle operations. Starting November 21, organizations can generate CNSA 2.0-compliant Post-Quantum Certificates to get ahead of upcoming federal PQC mandates.

The Root of Trust works with SEALSQ's semiconductor portfolio, including the Quantum Shield QS7001, and supports hybrid classical-and-PQC trust models that align with NIST standards. That flexibility matters because the transition to post-quantum cryptography won't happen overnight—systems need to speak both languages during the shift.

Taking Security to Space

SEALSQ is also working with WISeSat, part of WISeKey International Holding Ltd. (WKEY), to secure WISeSat's satellite constellation with a post-quantum-ready trust layer. The collaboration addresses U.S. demand for trusted space assets and resilient supply chains across terrestrial and orbital IoT networks.

It's an interesting play. As satellite networks become critical infrastructure for everything from GPS to internet connectivity, securing them against future quantum threats becomes a national security priority.
