Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) is taking its AI expertise somewhere you probably didn't expect: the rodeo. The company, along with TWG AI, just announced a partnership with Teton Ridge to integrate real-time artificial intelligence and computer vision into rodeo events.

The goal is to enhance the experience for everyone involved—athletes, fans, and sponsors alike. And they're doing it in collaboration with Nvidia Corp (NVDA), whose hardware makes the whole thing possible.

Teton Ridge is a western sports and entertainment company backed by TWG Global, and they've been busy. The company has worked with PRCA-sanctioned rodeos to pilot and refine AI and computer-vision applications in live arenas, gathering direct feedback from athletes and making rapid improvements based on real-world conditions.

Here's what makes this interesting: By leveraging Nvidia's advanced AI hardware and software—including the Holoscan platform for real-time edge computing and systems powered by Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs—Teton Ridge can process all the data right there on-site. No need to send video feeds to the cloud for processing, which would introduce latency that makes real-time insights impossible.

This on-site processing approach lets Teton Ridge deliver AI-driven insights in real-time, removing significant inefficiencies and enabling outcomes that simply weren't possible before.

And on Wednesday, Palantir introduced Chain Reaction, a new operating system designed to strengthen the nation's rapidly expanding artificial intelligence infrastructure.
