Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. (CBRL) took a beating in pre-market trading after serving up a disappointing first-quarter report and slashing its full-year sales outlook. The restaurant chain posted quarterly revenue of $797.19 million, falling short of the $802.22 million analysts were expecting. Even worse, the company reported an adjusted loss of 74 cents per share, missing estimates for a 68-cent loss.
Cracker Barrel shares dropped 8.3% to $24.76 before the opening bell.
