U.S. stock futures are trading in the red Thursday morning, which means investors will be hunting for individual movers to watch. Here's a rundown of five companies grabbing attention heading into today's session.
First up is Ciena Corp. (CIEN), which is expected to report quarterly earnings of 77 cents per share on revenue of $1.28 billion before the opening bell, according to data from Benzinga Pro. Ciena shares climbed 1.2% to $224.50 in after-hours trading on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Oracle Corp. (ORCL) delivered a mixed bag in its second-quarter fiscal 2026 results after Wednesday's close. The software giant posted revenue of $16.06 billion, falling short of the $16.21 billion analyst estimate. But here's the interesting part: adjusted earnings jumped 54% year-over-year to $2.26 per share, crushing the $1.64 consensus estimate from Benzinga Pro. Despite the earnings beat, Oracle shares tumbled 11.5% to $197.30 in after-hours trading, suggesting investors were more concerned about the revenue miss.
Broadcom Inc. (AVGO) is another name to watch today. Analysts are forecasting quarterly earnings of $1.86 per share on revenue of $17.1491 billion for the chip maker's latest quarter. The company reports after the closing bell Thursday. Broadcom shares slipped 0.8% to $409.70 in after-hours trading.
Adobe Inc. (ADBE) came through with better-than-expected fourth-quarter results and issued optimistic guidance for fiscal 2026. The company projects GAAP EPS between $17.90 and $18.10, well above the $16.56 analyst estimate. Despite the solid performance, Adobe shares edged down 0.8% to $340.40 in the after-hours session.
Finally, Costco Wholesale Corp. (COST) is expected to report quarterly earnings of $4.28 per share on revenue of $67.17 billion after today's closing bell. Costco shares ticked up 0.1% to $875.28 in after-hours trading.
