Christmas greetings from Donald Trump came with an edge this year. The President took to Truth Social on December 25th with a series of messages that mixed holiday cheer with pointed political jabs and ominous warnings about what's to come.
A Christmas Warning
Trump's most cryptic message encouraged Democrats to "savor what might be your final Merry Christmas." That's certainly one way to spread holiday spirit. But the real fireworks came when he addressed what he called "Sleazebags" who were formerly connected to Jeffrey Epstein.
The President didn't hold back, criticizing those who cut ties with Epstein only after things went south. According to Trump, he was the only person who actually distanced himself from Epstein well before it became the popular move. He also suggested that potential revelations in what he termed an ongoing "Radical Left Witch Hunt" would leave those involved with plenty to explain.
"Merry Christmas to all, including the many Sleazebags who loved Jeffrey Epstein, gave him bundles of money, went to his Island, attended his parties, and thought he was the greatest guy on earth, only to 'drop him like a dog' when things got too HOT, falsely claimed they had nothing to do with him, didn't know him, said he was a disgusting person, and then blame, of course, President Donald J. Trump, who was actually the only one who did drop Epstein, and long before it became fashionable to do so," Trump wrote.
Taking Stock of Achievements
In a separate Christmas message, Trump went after his political opponents, specifically calling out the "Radical Left Scum." But this time he paired the attacks with a victory lap, highlighting what he sees as the nation's accomplishments under his leadership.
"Merry Christmas to all, including the Radical Left Scum that is doing everything possible to destroy our Country, but are failing badly. We no longer have Open Borders, Men in Women's Sports, Transgender for Everyone, or Weak Law Enforcement. What we do have is a Record Stock Market and 401K's, Lowest Crime numbers in decades, No Inflation, and yesterday, a 4.3 GDP, two points better than expected. Tariffs have given us Trillions of Dollars in Growth and Prosperity, and the strongest National Security we have ever had. We are respected again, perhaps like never before," Trump wrote.
Trump also found time to take a shot at late-night host Stephen Colbert in yet another Truth Social post, calling him a "dead man walking" and suggesting CBS should "put him to rest."
Reading the Tea Leaves
So what does all this mean? Trump's cryptic warning combined with his hints about potential political upheaval could signal his intentions to remain a dominant force in the political arena. His sharp criticism of Epstein associates and references to the "Radical Left Witch Hunt" suggest these topics might feature prominently in his ongoing political strategy.
The combination of attacking adversaries while touting economic wins seems designed to energize his base and position himself favorably heading into future political battles. His emphasis on stock market records, low crime rates, and GDP growth paints a picture of success he clearly wants credit for.
Whether you view these messages as standard Trump rhetoric or genuine warnings of political upheaval to come, one thing is clear: the President isn't planning a quiet exit from the national conversation anytime soon. The implications could reshape the political landscape in meaningful ways as we move forward.
