Wall Street will be watching closely to see if the technology distributor can meet those targets. Shares closed down 0.8% at $151.00 on Wednesday.
AZZ Inc. (AZZ) delivered solid third-quarter results after the close Wednesday. The company posted adjusted earnings of $1.52 per share, topping analyst estimates of $1.47 per share. Revenue came in at $425.746 million, beating expectations of $418.164 million. The market liked what it saw—shares jumped 2.1% to $112.09 in after-hours trading.
Commercial Metals Co. (CMC) is on deck to report before the opening bell, with analysts expecting quarterly earnings of $1.56 per share on revenue of $2.06 billion. The steel and metals company saw its shares climb 3.1% to $75.50 in after-hours trading Wednesday.
Constellation Brands, Inc. (STZ) came out swinging with better-than-expected third-quarter results. The beverage giant reported earnings of $3.06 per share, handily beating the analyst consensus of $2.64 per share. Revenue also impressed at $2.22 billion, surpassing the $2.16 billion estimate. Shares gained 1.9% to $143.15 in after-hours trading.
Finally, Acuity Inc. (AYI) rounds out the day's earnings calendar with expectations of $4.59 per share on revenue of $1.14 billion before the opening bell. Shares edged up 0.1% to $370.25 in after-hours trading.
