Tilray Brands Inc. (TLRY) shares jumped sharply in premarket trading Friday after the cannabis company delivered a surprisingly strong second-quarter earnings report that beat Wall Street's expectations on both revenue and profitability.

That combination of profitability and revenue growth sent Tilray shares up 7.3% to $9.80 before the opening bell.
