Remember when hitting $200 billion seemed like an astronomical achievement? Those days are looking downright quaint. The AI boom is minting near-trillionaires, and three tech titans are now closing in on the $300 billion milestone.

Amazon (AMZN) founder Jeff Bezos and Alphabet (GOOGL) co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have each surpassed $250 billion in personal wealth, according to a recent report. At this rate, the $300 billion club might need to start printing membership cards.

The big driver? Alphabet's stock performance has been nothing short of spectacular. Shares climbed 65% last year and tacked on another 4.5% gain this year, fueled largely by investor enthusiasm around the company's artificial intelligence efforts. When Wall Street gets excited about AI, it really gets excited.

Bezos has seen his wealth grow more steadily, rising from $239 billion at the start of 2025 to $268 billion. That reflects Amazon's roughly 5% stock increase last year and an additional 6% climb this year.

Bloomberg's Billionaires Index shows Page and Brin ended Friday with net worths of approximately $281 billion and $261 billion, respectively. Their wealth surged dramatically in 2025, with Page gaining about $101 billion and Brin adding $92 billion. Those gains were second only to Elon Musk in annual increases, and the momentum has continued into this year with additional jumps of around $12 billion for Page and $11 billion for Brin.

Speaking of Musk, the Tesla (TSLA) and SpaceX CEO remains the world's wealthiest person by a comfortable margin, with a net worth of $639 billion as of Friday's close. He enjoyed a $165 billion wealth spike last year, powered by Tesla stock gaining 11% and SpaceX's valuation more than doubling from $350 billion to $800 billion.

The broader story here is how tech moguls continue to accumulate staggering wealth, driven by their companies' success and investor excitement around transformative technologies like AI. The question is no longer who will join the $200 billion club, but rather who will be first to hit $300 billion.
