SoundHound AI, Inc. (SOUN) caught investor attention Monday as the market digested several AI-related innovations the company unveiled at CES last week.

Voice Commerce Gets Smarter

The highlight is SoundHound's new agentic voice commerce capabilities, built on its Amelia 7 platform. Think of it as bringing actual AI agents into your car, TV and smart devices. Users can now handle real tasks through voice commands like ordering food, making restaurant reservations, paying for parking, booking flights and hotels, or purchasing tickets while driving.

Vision Meets Voice

SoundHound also debuted Vision AI for vehicles at CES 2026, marking the first time the technology has been shown publicly. The system lets drivers interact with what they see around them using voice commands. That means identifying landmarks, reading billboards, translating signs and pulling up travel information without taking your hands off the wheel.

According to the company, Vision AI is designed to enable hands-free interactions that enhance information discovery, transactions and entertainment while you're in the vehicle.

Stock Movement: At the time of writing, SoundHound shares were trading 2.64% higher at $12.06.
