Wednesday wasn't a great day for the broader market, with the Nasdaq Composite dropping more than 200 points. But if you knew where to look, there were plenty of bright spots worth celebrating.
TG Therapeutics Delivers Strong Revenue Results
Leading the charge was TG Therapeutics Inc (TGTX), which posted impressive gains after releasing preliminary fiscal-year 2025 revenue figures Tuesday evening. The biotechnology company reported approximately $616 million in total global revenue for the full year, driven primarily by its multiple sclerosis treatment BRIUMVI.
Breaking down the numbers, TG Therapeutics disclosed preliminary U.S. net product revenue for BRIUMVI of approximately $182 million for the fourth quarter alone and $594 million for the complete fiscal year. The company noted these figures are unaudited and subject to final closing procedures, but investors clearly liked what they saw. Shares jumped 11.6% to $31.10 on Wednesday.
Other Notable Movers
TG Therapeutics wasn't alone in defying the market's downward momentum. Here's a look at other stocks that recorded significant gains during the session:
Rich Sparkle Holdings Ltd (ANPA) climbed 13.5% to $95.31, posting the strongest percentage gain among the day's winners.
Cerus Corp (CERS) rose 12.7% to $2.84, continuing its momentum in the blood safety products space.
Clover Health Investments Corp (CLOV) jumped 11.2% to $2.82 after announcing year-over-year membership growth in its Medicare Advantage PPO plans. Perhaps more importantly for investors, the company expects to achieve its first-ever full-year GAAP net income profitability. That's the kind of milestone that can shift the narrative for a company that's been working toward sustainable operations.
Highpeak Energy Inc (HPK) gained 8.3% to $5.07, riding the energy sector's continued strength.
Array Digital Infrastructure Inc (AD) advanced 7.8% to $57.87, benefiting from ongoing interest in data center infrastructure.
Concentrix Corp (CNXC) rose 7.7% to $42.18. Interestingly, the company reported fourth-quarter results Tuesday that initially weighed on investor sentiment, but the stock recovered nicely during Wednesday's trading.
Adient PLC (ADNT) surged 7.5% to $23.05 ahead of its scheduled first-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings discussion on February 4.
Kindly MD Inc (NAKA) gained 7.4% to $0.50, showing strength in the penny stock category.
Cadeler (CDLR) picked up 7.2% to $21.92, continuing its solid performance in the offshore wind installation vessel market.
Innovative Solutions and Support Inc (ISSC) rose 7.2% to $20.63 in the avionics systems sector.
Nutrien Ltd (NTR) gained 7% to $65.62 after catching a favorable analyst call. Morgan Stanley's Vincent Sinisi upgraded the agricultural products giant from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised his price target from $70 to $77. Wall Street upgrades like this can provide a meaningful boost, especially when they come from a major investment bank.
Alpha Tau Medical Ltd (DRTS) rounded out the list with a 6.4% gain to $6.98.
